Which hospital?

Hi everyone!
I'm facing a dilemma..
My first birth was a nightmare! It was induced because I had gestational diabetes, I had contractions at 36 weeks, and then in the end an emergency C-section because my pelvis was too narrow and the baby had passed stool in the amniotic fluid. I had already mentioned this at the first ultrasound that this was likely how it would go since my grandma and mom had those same issues! It was a true nightmare, I was completely exhausted. And when I went back to the gynecologist a few weeks later, he said "it was obvious the C-section would happen" wow, did you have to make me suffer so long?!
Now I'm wondering, we'd like to have a second child but I'm hesitating whether to go to the same hospital again, since they know my medical history, especially regarding the gestational diabetes.. and the C-section?
I haven't stepped foot in there since my birth, almost 3 years ago! I've developed a real fear..
What would you do in my place?
Best,
A hesitant mom,..

Because of your previous C-section, you can now choose to have a C-section again. At least in the Netherlands. That way, you won’t have the hassle of a long labor. You can choose a different hospital, and you can also request a consultation to help you process and close this chapter, so you might be able to go back to that hospital with confidence. It’s about what makes you feel comfortable.
