Like, baby is sick, now pumping?

Hi dear fellow mums.

My sweet little 15-week-old baby is sick. Fever, crying and sleeping. She doesn't really want to eat. Normally she comes every 2 hours, but now it's been over 4 hours already.

Not sure what to do. Just let it be or go pump? They're already running a bit low at the moment.

Love, Beertje 86

You can indeed pump sometimes, and then it's also easier to give it to the baby. Because a bottle requires less sucking force.

Do they really not enjoy breastfeeding? My little boy was latched on almost all day when he was sick. Occasionally weaning a bit and sometimes drinking. In principle, 2 hours doesn't make much difference. If you keep offering, you won't dry up so quickly, okay. It's a matter of supply and demand; once she wants to drink more again, your breasts will start producing more too.
