Struggling with eating during pregnancy

Hi ladies,
My partner and I found out two weeks ago that I'm pregnant. Super happy, of course! However, I've been having a really hard time eating lately. I'm also experiencing quite a bit of nausea, even though I'm not really that far along in my pregnancy yet. I feel it's really important to eat well and healthily now, but the problem is that I have little to no appetite. I basically only eat because I force myself. But as soon as I push myself too hard, the nausea comes back.
I was wondering if I'm the only one experiencing this much discomfort and if you have any tips/tricks you'd like to share.
PS: I don't know exactly how far along I am yet. I guess around 4 weeks. Do you know a good test that can tell me how far along I am? (I have my first appointment with the midwife in 3 weeks).

    Hi!
That’s really tough, but unfortunately very relatable. From the moment I found out (maybe even a bit earlier) until about week 9 of my pregnancy, I had a really hard time eating.
I did try to eat, taking small bites instead of too much at once. I also tried eating things that don’t sit too heavily on my stomach, like rusks or crackers. I’d occasionally have a peppermint or chew some gum to help with the nausea.

I also got really nauseous pretty quickly, could only manage a few bites per day and then had to throw up again... I felt so awful and saw stars... I felt so guilty towards my baby because healthy eating is so important... Unfortunately, I couldn't manage that back then... At 9 weeks it suddenly stopped and I even got hungry I don't have many tips because nothing helped me Just keep going unfortunately... Strength!

I unfortunately have exactly the same...
Can't really find anything that works yet...
Eating small portions, having crackers before getting up, light and easy to digest...
Also feel guilty, trying to eat as healthily as possible when I can.

    Hi Miertje,
I see that you're already 16 weeks along and hope that the nausea has improved by now?
I've been super nauseous since week 6. Vomiting almost every day. And I'm also scared that I'm not getting enough nutrients for the baby. Or that I'm not eating a varied enough diet. But there are certain things I really can't keep down. I haven't found anything that helps either. Hopefully, it'll become more manageable in the next few weeks.
