Hello. I'm pregnant with a girl and I'm torn about the name Bowi.
Would you like to comment on whether you think the name is pretty?
Thanks!

That's such a name that depends on the girl. If you're a bit elegant, it's a beautiful name.

If you're a bit less elegant, the name becomes a bit less elegant too, I think, if you know what I mean....

    Ooohhh
I had a little lamb named Bowie!!
She was bottle-fed from day one.
As soon as she started standing on her legs and nudging with her head for milk, I’d say:
"Hey Bowie" And that’s how it stayed..

    Go for it!! Absolutely!!

(And my oldest sister is named Lara..)

I think it's a super name, unique, easy to pronounce, and nicely tough yet girly. Really lovely!

Thanks for the reply. What do you mean... if he becomes a bit of a cheeky kid, does that mean the name will also be like that?

not a nice name sorry it sounds like bowing the airplane i don't think it's a name for both a boy and a girl make it bowien if you have to that sounds more like a name but this is just my personal opinion of course good luck with your baby

What do you think of Nikie or Bowien? Also tough girl names.

I have a daughter named Shevona. Now my question is, how would you pronounce it and/or which pronunciation do you think sounds the best? Shévona or Shuvona?
