What awaits me?

Trying for two years for a miracle, no success yet. I’ve had tests and my husband did too, everything looks perfect. His sperm was really good, I had a good ovulation, and we timed it for the expected day. Everything looked perfect for both of us. But now I have another appointment on Nov 24th at the fertility clinic for the second round. After the tests, we were told to try for another six months, and if it still didn’t work, to come back. So on Nov 24th I’m going again, but what can I expect?

Anyone who knows this?

I think they'll map out your cycle completely and take a blood sample during the cycle. I hope it turns out to be a success story for you.

I had to get injections right after ovulation half a year ago, and luckily I kept track of my cycle. It turned out that I have a very regular cycle. Those apps are handy for trying to conceive; I had to write everything down and then hand it in. After my ovulation, I had to get injections five days later, and everything looked super good, she said, with a phone call result after two weeks. So I'm really curious what's coming up

They map out everything, see what’s been done so far, and then look at the options for you in the TTC group.
Often you still need another blood test for progesterone, etc.

I’ve been TTC for 1 year and will soon start IVF after 5 unsuccessful IUI treatments.
Nothing was found that would prevent us from getting pregnant, but we hope to finally have success with IVF.

If you’d like to talk to more ladies in the TTC group, read stories, share your own story, or find support, check out the : cozy TTC group part 4.
We’re all in the same boat but on different paths.

Wishing you (you both) lots of success in advance.

Thanks for your reply! I find it quite nerve-wracking, I've already had quite a few tests and indeed nothing was found. I'll sign up in the group soon. It's always nice to be able to vent and ask questions. Thank you x
