Hi everyone,

My husband (28) and I (24) have been trying to conceive our first baby since May 2015. Unfortunately, it hasn't worked out yet, so last month we decided to see our GP. They referred us to a fertility specialist, and yesterday we had our first consultation with a fertility nurse. It was a really nice chat, and she answered a lot of questions. Now I have an internal exam in 3 weeks.

Are there others who are starting this journey and would like to share their experiences?

I went through an IVF/ICSI journey, so I'm not sure what you want to know? Do you already know which path you'll be taking?
Wishing you all the best anyway! Here's to a beautiful pregnancy!

    Hi Chantie,

Sorry for the late reply, but we found out today that we're going to start with the IUI process first. Everything is still a bit unclear for us. We have an appointment soon to discuss it. We got a brochure and I find it all quite overwhelming.

Definitely very exciting. You can ask all your questions during the appointment. Maybe a tip: write down your questions/concerns so you don't forget anything and start off positive and well-informed :-) Good luck! Onward to that positive test :-)
