pregnant to Indonesia

Hi fellow forum members!
Today I'm 5 weeks pregnant! My partner and I started trying in June and it was instant, never expected. Super happy, of course! We had already booked a trip to Indonesia for July and now I'm wondering whether to go. We're only going to Java (almost no malaria) and Bali (no malaria) so the risk of malaria is minimal (you do have to protect yourself well) and watch what we eat. But; in the tropics of course there's more risk than in Europe or somewhere else. The GGD (public health service) says it's okay, so does the midwife, but I'm wondering if there are any ladies here who have done such a trip, did it work out, what did you pay attention to, any tips? We have a cancellation insurance where we can cancel for pregnancy, so that's not the problem, but I'm really looking forward to this trip. Very curious! Thanks in advance.

I've never done his trip myself.
But as a tip, bring a mosquito net so you're protected from mosquitoes while sleeping.
And be careful with what you eat, but I guess you already know that.
And if you still don't feel like it, maybe you can book something else.
I wish you both a lovely holiday and wish you a pleasant pregnancy!
