Four Days' Walk

Has anyone already had experience with running the Nijmegen Four Days March during the early stages of pregnancy?
I'm currently 5 weeks pregnant, so I'd be 8 weeks during the march, but I find it quite scary. Is it okay to walk so much with a baby growing in my belly? Is this harmful?
Could something go wrong, or is it actually good to move around so much?

At 8 weeks, your baby is still very tiny and doesn't need much. The only thing that might become a problem is that you might feel quite tired and nauseous in general (not everyone does) during the first 3 months because so much is changing in your body and your hormone levels are rising. Just take it easy and see what works; it can't harm your little one as long as you take good care of yourself. A good level of fitness can't do any harm for the months ahead anyway
