hi ladies

I have a question, our little girl is now 4 weeks old and has had really bad little bumps on her face for a week now.
I've already taken her to the GP but he says it's normal and will go away on its own.
Now my question is, which of you has had this with your kids or had it yourself, and how long did it take for it to go away? And is there anything I can do myself? I'm currently washing her face every day with a washcloth and lukewarm water, and I'm not applying anything else.

No idea, my two daughters never had it. My third daughter, almost 3 months old, didn't either.
Maybe your baby is allergic to something somewhere?
Or it's a reaction of her body to the vaccinations.
It seems that with early vaccinations, babies already get rashes or develop allergies at a very young age.

    Hi

Hmm okay, our little one hasn't had any vaccinations yet, so that can't be the issue

It could also be due to the heat, and otherwise, check for a cow's milk allergy. But if you're breastfeeding, they can still get it, and it usually goes away on its own.

You see that more often with babies. If you're breastfeeding, it could be due to your hormones or baby acne.
It does indeed go away on its own. Sometimes it helps to apply Sudocrem, which dries it out thanks to the zinc.
