Can I have frozen yogurt?

Hi! Maybe a silly question, but can I eat frozen yogurt during my pregnancy? I know soft serve isn't allowed because it's slightly melted and therefore contains bacteria, but frozen yogurt (like at Ikea) is pretty soft too, right? It's not really frozen like ice cream from the freezer, so I've always convinced myself that I shouldn't eat frozen yogurt. But is that correct?

Thanks!

Oh, seriously, you can't have soft ice cream?? I really ate a lot of it during my pregnancy, always had such a craving for it. I even ate the biggest soft ice cream ever the night before the little one was born, in the hospital no less.

Oh, you just eat soft ice cream? I've always heard/read that it's not so good... But I do feel like having some, and even more so frozen yogurt!!

Good heavens, can’t you even do that anymore?
Soon pregnant women will only be allowed to have tube feeding and stay locked up at home...

I just eat soft ice cream and milkshakes.. Big ones too, they're hard to resist here

Oh and no idea about the frozen yogurt thing, it all seems quite exaggerated to me hahahah

Soft ice cream is only a problem if the machine isn't used much and isn't cleaned properly. Then bacteria can get in...

With Mac or something, it's used so much that you can really take it. Seems the same to me with frozen yogurt...

Okay, so I assume you can also get soft ice cream and frozen yogurt at Ikea too, right? Such a big chain must keep their machines clean, I guess! Good news for me then

Yeah, I’d totally dare to do that. 2 weeks ago I also just got a milkshake at McDonald’s! Delicious!

Same here: I don't eat ice cream from scoops unless I trust the place (almost nowhere). Soft serve is fine at McDonald's or similar, but definitely nowhere else. I know people who've worked at Mc's and they really do check things strictly. There's also an ice cream shop in town where they make the ice cream and use it right away. Always the perfect temperature, never transported, super hygienic. I've never gotten sick from it (and I'm very sensitive on that point), so I just enjoy an ice cream there. Elsewhere I'd really be careful. I wouldn't go for it right away at Ikea.
