HCG test Kruidvat

Hi everyone,

I have a very irregular cycle; over the last 4 months it's been 34, 36, 27, and 38 days. I'm now on day 31, and my partner and I cuddled extra often during the week I ovulated (calculated based on my average cycle) With such an irregular cycle, it's really hard for me to figure out when to test. So, I went ahead and bought the cheapest test available this afternoon—the HCG test from Kruidvat. Yeah, I know, it's better to test in the morning, but obviously, I couldn't wait. After about 3 minutes, a second line appeared. It's not as clear as you'd hope when you're TTC, but is this enough?? See the photo, taken 4 to 5 minutes after testing. Would love to hear your thoughts!

Love,

Claudia

Yes, you have a beautiful test. I think you're about 1-2 weeks pregnant if you're using the weeks indicator on Clearblue. You could get another one and do that tomorrow morning with first morning urine. I'm curious about your new test

CB weeks test, but you can also get the CB test with pregnant/not pregnant, but I'd just get the weeks test so you also know approximately how many weeks you are.. and call the VK tomorrow for the first appointment

This is so obviously pregnant! I wish I had a line like that, man!

    A line is a line = Pregnant

My Kruidvat test was actually even lighter but it was done 3 days before the expected date..

    I cautiously say Congratulations xx

No need to be careful anymore, mamavan. She already took a test with a 1-2 week pregnancy result, so there it is Just take a look, it's quick..

Mom, yessssss but as long as you haven't seen an ultrasound with a beating heart yet, it's best to be cautious. Congratulations! I had a miscarriage last year at 8 weeks!

I had an ultrasound at 7 weeks and 10.5 weeks and saw and heard the heartbeat twice... We've been trying for over 3 years! Actually, it's only been a few days since I realized I'm pregnant... I'm now 13 weeks and now I'm trying to enjoy it carefully!!!

But Mamavan, every pregnancy is different, and yes, things can go wrong. But when someone is in the early stages of pregnancy, I just say congratulations. You're making someone feel insecure at a time when they're starting to talk about your past... I know all about it myself, Mamavan... (Been trying for 26 months myself)

But that's something I won't bring up, and making someone feel insecure is the last thing I want to do... Especially not for someone in the early stages of pregnancy...

It's great that you've already had such good ultrasounds. Enjoy your pregnancy, girl.....

MEM, it's just pure reality; I don't want to make anyone feel insecure or scared...
But don't you also have an image in mind for yourself? That you won't fixate on being 4-5 weeks pregnant? I think you can only breathe and enjoy from week 12 onwards.
And that has absolutely nothing to do with making people scared or insecure; you just need to stay realistic! Of course, every woman who just tested positive is unsure about how things will go and whether the heartbeat is there, etc.
That's why I said (carefully) congratulations, but it's absolutely not meant any less...
I think she'll understand what I mean exactly by the first ultrasound
