@Nynke,
But dear Nynke, if you want to get pregnant, you shouldn't be focusing on losing weight, dear girl. I think you have a lovely face and a couple of sparkling eyes; long hair would look absolutely gorgeous on you too... Look at that amazing picture of you and your boys.. 13 kilos isn't 113 kilos, you know.. You're a beautiful woman..
Love, Ju
ps and just relax, girl.. -

Hi Ju,
thanks so much! But they always say you get pregnant faster and easier with a healthy weight, right? I'm not going to eat less or anything (I just love eating too much :angel
but I will move more. My kilos are also more around my belly, and I find that quite unpleasant. I just hope that with a bit of exercise it will go away. It doesn't have to happen quickly either; a kilo per month is good enough. So in 13 months I'll have my target weight
and when I'm pregnant I'll just take it easy.
Funny that you say long hair would suit me too. I've always had long hair. I thought, let's do something crazy and get short hair, but I can't really do much with it, so I'm letting it grow again.
Love, Nynke -

I have a question..
My boyfriend and I are trying to conceive and have been off the pill for 3 months now. Since then, I've had a regular 28-day cycle. Now, suddenly, 4 days before my period was due, I started bleeding. It started about 7 days after ovulation, and it's much less than my normal period. I also don't have any menstrual symptoms like cramps or back pain. The bleeding has now stopped; it was bright red at first, then a bit brownish, and lasted for 4 days. Normally, I should get my period today. Could I be pregnant? And when would I be able to take a test? Hopefully, someone can give me some clarity..
Love.. -

Hi ladies!
We're also trying to get pregnant! I've had a bit of bleeding over the past 3 days, and it was a bit more on Sunday than yesterday. My cycle isn't completely regular yet, but I was expecting my period today. My ovulation was around Christmas, and we had sex then too! I took an early test last Sunday and it was negative. I don't have any other symptoms (I had a huge headache yesterday). Could I be pregnant or is it just my period? -

I hope I'm wrong, but I'm afraid you're just getting your period :-(

Hey ladies,
I had my period on Jan 4th.
Ovulation was on Jan 17th and I had some brown discharge.
I still have this stomach ache, it feels like period pain.
Does anyone know what's going on?
Hehe, I'm super nervous anyway. I think I'll call my gynecologist tomorrow morning. -

Hi everyone!
First of all, congratulations to all the mamas-to-be!
I'm new here on this site and I'm dealing with the following:
In October, I missed a period. I took a test and it was negative. I called the doctor, who said it might be because I've been on the pill for a few years (6) and it can skip a cycle once in a while. I was told to keep an eye on my next period, which came normally. Then I missed a pill, and two weeks ago I expected my period during the pill-free week. But again, nothing came (except a brown smear, 1.5 days after my period should have started, no drops after that). Last Monday, I took a test (a week after I was overdue). It was negative after 1 minute, and I thought it would stay negative. I checked again at 8 minutes, but it was still negative. When I went to bed in the evening, I suddenly saw two lines on the test! I've never seen that before, no matter how long I left the test. The second line is very clear and pink (see profile picture).
I know you're not supposed to read the test after the reading time. So consider this test basically negative. But after reading stories online about positive tests after the reading time, I'm not so sure anymore. The test line seems to be further to the right compared to other positive tests from kv 2v5. What do you think if you look at my test?
P.S. We plan to stop taking the pill in the summer. Right now, if I forget the pill, we use extra contraception. If it 'suddenly' turns out to be a success, we'd be very happy about it.
Greetings, Renate -

Hi Renate,
I’d take another test so you’re sure. I’ve never had a positive test either, even when I left it for two days. I think you’re pregnant, but take another test. If it does the same thing, I’d get a blood test done.
Let me know what you’re going to do?
Good luck,
Love -

Hi Renate,
How about picking up a CB test? They're very clear and just show pregnant/not pregnant. Good luck, girl!

Hi ladies,
I have quite a long story but I'll try to keep it as short as possible (if that works). In January, I forgot my pill twice and had sex. Shortly after, I had very light bleeding for 2 days (sorry for the details) – brownish-redish mucus, but really just very little. Took a test and it was negative, but on my doctor's advice, I stopped the pill.
I did that, and a few days later I started bleeding (period?), I thought. But it lasted 5 days, and some days it was just a few drops, and sometimes very dark mucus. Then I had unprotected sex and started the pill again a week later. Two weeks ago, my breasts suddenly started growing (stretch marks) and I've been having nipple pain, nausea, and extreme fatigue. Took a test a few days ago and it showed a faint positive line. Stopped the pill again and, just to be safe, had a blood test. I'll get the results on Monday.
Now, since yesterday I've had a lot of cramps and started bleeding bright red, but not much yet. There's also some dark blood. I don't understand any of it anymore, and I can't stop thinking about it – it's really exhausting! I still have breast pain, and I've never had issues with them in all these years. They haven't changed size since I was 15 (I'm 20 now). What do you guys think? -

Hi ladies, I have an urgent question.
Recently (I just stopped taking the pill a month ago) I've been having really sore, tight breasts. So the doctor did a blood test and it was negative. I also got my period shortly after that (I think), but I only bled for 2 days in total and it was more mucus than blood, and much shorter and lighter than usual. However, I did have severe back pain and some sharp stabs in my lower belly (but this only lasted for an hour, unlike the usual 5 days of pain).
Since then, I've been very dizzy and tired. I'm wondering if it's due to the weather or to myself. Also, my belly is very bloated and hard, and I'm having trouble going to the toilet (gross message, I know). So I'm doubting whether that was implantation or just a period. The blood test was a few days before I got the bleeding, so it's logical that I wouldn't have had hCG in my blood yet.
What do you all think? Greetings, Joanne -

Quick question: can you feel the implantation? -

Hi! I have a question. Last month I stopped taking the pill, and then I got my period (I think). But it only lasted 2 days with very little bleeding (and a lot of brown discharge). Before that bleeding started, I took a test which was negative. But after that, I just left it. Now I'm definitely 6 or 7 days late, and occasionally I get some light brown mucus or a real drop of blood, but nothing more. And for the past 2 days, no stomach pain at all, which I usually have a lot of. Just tender breasts and weird, grumpy mood swings. I don't really feel like my period is coming. Am I pregnant, or what's going on? Help! -

I have no idea, have you taken a test again? I'd ask the midwife about it.
Good luck, love -

Hi,
I don't know how it looks, but I was 1 day late and the next day I got my period with light pink bleeding, severe back pain, nausea, and couldn't stand on my legs. After 2 days, I had no more bleeding, even though my period usually lasts 6-7 days. When I eat, I feel nauseous, I'm tired, dizzy, urinate often, and have cramps in my lower belly. AM I PREGNANT OR NOT??? -

Hey, I'm really worried about this. I lost blood 9 days before my period was due and had cramps too. It feels different from my usual period—I've been soaking about one pad a day for 2 days. I also have a weird feeling in my lower abdomen. Could this be implantation? -

Hi everyone,
I'm 19. Lately I've been feeling really tired and often getting short cramps lower down in my stomach. I stopped taking the pill half a year ago because I was on another pill that didn't mix well with it, but after I stopped the pill I had unprotected sex with my partner. I didn't get my period in December last year or January 2014, but I did in February, though it was very early. In March I had two periods (or bleeding episodes), one lasting 3-4 days and then another lasting a week. I've done 3 pregnancy tests (2 in December and 1 in January), all negative. Still, I have headaches, I'm often tired, sometimes feel lightheaded, eat more, and have gained weight (that could be because of eating more). I also sometimes have mild pain in my lower abdomen during sex. Lately I've also been having shaky legs and a gurgling stomach.
Am I pregnant after all, or does anyone know of something else these symptoms could be from? -

Hey, I have a question. I'm overdue and today I lost a little bit of blood for about 2 hours. Is that my period or implantation? I haven't lost any more blood since then. I do have lower back pain, and in the beginning I had some symptoms, but they're gone now. What could it be? -

Hi ladies, I had a question. I got my period on August 8th, usually I have a 28-day cycle, but then I started bleeding again on August 28th. First it was pink, then brown, and then some dark red. This lasted for 8 days, while I was supposed to get my period again on September 5th. The bleeding lasted until September 4th, but on the day I was supposed to get my real period, which was September 5th, there was no more blood. Does anyone know what this could be????
