X-ray photo

I just took my little boy to the dentist for a dental X-ray. I was allowed to stay with him. But now I'm worried because there's a chance I might be pregnant. Could this be harmful? Best, Roos

Yeah, it's advised not to do it, especially not in the first trimester because the baby is very vulnerable then.

Dental X-rays do have less scatter radiation than regular X-rays.

Maybe just get tested before you start worrying?

When I was 18 weeks pregnant, I still got a photo taken. The dentist said it couldn't do too much harm since the radiation wasn't that strong.
Meanwhile, I have a beautiful boy of 3 months old, and everything is fine with him.

If the dentist hadn't said anything, I'd trust it.
    I wasn't allowed to get X-rays
Because the radiation could be harmful, according to my dentist. So that was really bad in my case
Because I had cavities and other dental issues back then
A lot of things had to wait until after my pregnancy.
