Esmay or Esmeé

Which name do you think is better?
For the spelling, it will have to be specified for both how it should be written.
I'm more worried about the pronunciation. For me, it's clear, but I'm afraid people will pronounce Esmay as (esmai) or am I imagining this?

    I'd pronounce Esmay like Esmeej, with a real English "may". I think Esmay is more beautiful than Esmée; it's something different for once!

    I'm going with Esmée. I think it looks nicer that way, and if I hear the name Esmee, I'd write it as Esmée.

    Esmee! I think it looks nicer. It's also a bit more Dutch, but I don't know if that's what you're looking for.

    Of your options, I'd choose Esmeé.
