Should I be worried?

Hi, I'm new here so I'm still figuring everything out My boyfriend and I have been trying to conceive for quite a while now, and I'm almost 2 weeks late. I'm going to take a test today or over the weekend. My breasts are also extremely sensitive. But I'm a bit worried because I've been feeling incredibly sick for about 5 days now—I can hardly keep any food down, have vomited a few times, feel extremely weak, have stomach cramps, etc. If I am pregnant, isn't this really bad for the baby? That I'm eating so little?

    If you were pregnant...
You'd have less resistance because everything goes to the little one... which means you're more susceptible to flu and stuff.
If you're already 2 weeks overdue, I'd just take a test... then at least you'd know something...
    Good luck, greetings, ikke

I’d definitely try a test if I were you. Especially since you’re already two weeks late.

Well, maybe the reason you've been feeling so under the weather is precisely because you're pregnant.

I'm going to take a test today. And yeah, I think that's also the reason why I feel so sick, haha. I'm trying to get as much as I can into me and keep it down. I usually feel a bit better as the day goes on!

Hey Loodje, first of all, congratulations!! And don't worry, in the beginning she'll still get nourishment from a kind of yolk sac. It's only around 12 weeks that the umbilical cord and placenta will take over from the yolk sac. Once that happens, it becomes extra important to keep an eye on your nutrition. And being sick doesn't necessarily mean you'll have an effect on your baby in your belly. Make sure you get enough rest and take good care of yourself. Good luck and wishing you a very pleasant pregnancy.
