Don't you think it's pretty tough, buttercup? Studying and being pregnant at the same time? Or is it manageable?
It's nice that your friend's sister is also pregnant, so you'll have someone to talk to about it anyway.

That's a bit of a downside for me—I'm the only one among my friends and circle who's pregnant at my age, or even pregnant at all.

No, not at all! The advantage of university is that you have a lot of freedom and can do a lot of work at home. Luckily, I had already passed all the courses I needed, so I'm basically done for this year! That gives me some peace of mind.

Yes, it's really nice! We also often go together to appointments at the GP and baby shop. She has a lot of friends who have just given birth or are still pregnant, so I get to connect with them again that way. She's also organizing my baby shower. And she's just 24, so there's not a huge age difference.

I can understand that it's a shame. It's always nice to chat about it with people who really understand!

Yeah, I was induced with my first baby too, at 38 weeks. She wasn't growing as well in the last few weeks either.

Yeah, we were lucky enough to get pregnant twice quickly.

By the way, I'm 25 and my partner is 29. And as your work gets too heavy, you're entitled to adjusted work, right?

With my first daughter, I went on leave at 36 weeks, and now at 35 weeks, April 22 is my last day, so I'll have 19 weeks off. I'll just tack my vacation on after that.

    Hi buttercup,
It's nice that you can organize your time a bit yourself for school! How much longer do you have to go until you're done with university?

    Hi Nancy,
I'm going to have a talk with my manager at work next week because I won't be able to handle this. I'm taking leave starting June 7th. And if I find out on the 19th, I'll add 3 weeks of vacation after that! Sounds wonderful to me!

    @michelle,

Yeah, just let them know if something doesn't work out. Yes, that's really nice, especially if you can stay home all summer. My daughter was also born in May, and the second one will be born in May too, so I'll be home all summer for both. Last time was indeed lovely. You can go for nice walks and stuff.

Michelle, I'm done in 2 years!

Sterretjesmama, that's so sad that you've lost two babies and had a miscarriage, but it's super great that it's working out again! Everything will go really well!

Oh wow, April 26th is already almost here!! Are you nervous? Sounds so exciting to me.

How are all the soon-to-be young moms doing?
  8. boterbloempje16 #28

Everything's good here! Today is 37+1, so we can really start counting down! Had a check-up today and everything was fine, baby has also dropped, so now we just wait to see when she shows up! Anyway, we're ready.

    And how are you doing?

    I'm 33+2 today
Everything is going well, apart from physical ailments like annoying back pain.. (especially at night.)
I finally finished my last day of work yesterday, so now I can enjoy my leave! (Hopefully the weather will get better too)

It's coming along well for you then, Boterbloempje16!
    Exciting!!
