Quick question? Is it okay to dye your hair during pregnancy?

The question is already there:
Can you dye your hair during pregnancy?
I'm going gray and I'm not happy about that.

But opinions on this are divided on Google.
I obviously won't take any risks if it's not allowed.

But I'm curious to hear your opinions.

Sure, you can dye your hair. I actually asked my hairdresser about it recently. Due to the hormones, the color might turn out differently, I understood

Just be careful with blonde dye, I think, but more for your own sake than because it's harmful to the baby!

You can just dye your hair during pregnancy. Only the colors might turn out a bit different and/or not last as long.
With blonde highlights on the scalp, I would be more careful though.

You can just color it. You hear that due to hormones the color might turn out slightly different, but I've never actually experienced that in my 15 years as a hairdresser.
Back in the day, the dye was much more aggressive; I think it's much less so nowadays.
If you're still unsure, you could go for highlights. What I heard about my sister-in-law (again, 10 years ago) was that someone said it gets into the blood and thus reaches the baby. With highlights, there's absolutely no possibility for that.

My sister is a hairdresser and owns a salon, and she gave birth herself in June.

But she really advises against it!

    Even with conditioners, be careful.

The conditioners that are ammonia-free you can use.

Everyone has to decide for themselves, but my sister advises against it.

I'm now also using i.c.o.n hairdresser shampoo.

    Paraben and sulfate-free.
