I find it weird to name a child Day (=day). You wouldn't name a child "Year", "Month" or "Quarter" either, would you?

Lauren or Danée fits well with Liam. Two L's don't seem like a problem here because it's Li and Lau, and those are different sounds anyway. So the "jut" and "jul" factor isn't that bad.

Oh yeah, you come across most unique names as a teacher. Storm, Diesel, Zus, Bloem, Ocean.
    Tastes differ.

    Anything else, Laura?

Lauren, Danee, and Yara I think are really beautiful names, also with Liam. Day I just don't find beautiful at all.

What do you think of Liam and Jealy?
  6. Lizzy86 #26

Liam and Kathy or Kay (from Kayleigh) (or another K name?)
I think Lauren is a beautiful name, but stylistically it doesn't fit with Liam. I don't think L and L is weird though.

    Good luck with the choice,

    Greetings,
    Lizzy

Why does it have to match Liam 100%? They're brother and sister. It's not a pair where the names are always said together. Danee or Yara fit Liam just fine in that regard. Both have 2 syllables. Nothing wrong with that.

    Day spelled as Dae!

It doesn't have to match Liam 100%, but the names should sound somewhat compatible.

I think Dae is a nice idea!

So relatable! We can't even agree on one. Every time I hear a name somewhere and tell him about it excitedly, he just says "mwa.." and it's the same when he comes up with a name, hihi. Good luck!

I don't find it weird to call your child "day".

Kas is also a popular boy's name and is also an object.
Just like Bloem, Lenthe, and Sterre are regularly chosen.

Or what do you think of Floor or Joke (then you'd better go to England)
