If you're going babysitting, don't pick a baby out; men often find that even worse than a child.

A toddler who already knows you, or a baby who knows you really well, otherwise you're in for some drama.

I’m not saying it’s easy, but if my partner said he didn’t want kids, I’d leave him.
I was smart enough to ask early on in our relationship whether he ever wanted kids. If he had said no back then, whether I was head over heels or not, I would have left him.

It has to be wanted by both sides.

I think if you really want to get pregnant and your partner doesn't, you should damn well have a good talk with each other. Does he want kids later on? Or not at all? You can't tell me you didn't already know a few years ago that your partner didn't want children.
You're putting him in a corner. Personally, I don't like that; you're only thinking about what YOU want. And unfortunately, I also know those women who back then maneuvered their partners into it. And all three are single. You shouldn't force a man who really doesn't want it. One couple is still together, though. But he doesn't look at his son. She can't even go out because he won't babysit because SHE wanted the child HE didn't. This is what's been created.
Furthermore, everyone has already clearly stated their opinion, and I hope that as an expectant mother, you want what's best for your child. That he is wanted by both parents.

OMG. I seriously hate selfish women like you.
Good, you want a baby. But not with your partner. If you want to ruin your relationship quickly, you should definitely force him into such a situation.
This is just doomed to fail.
A relationship should be based on trust and love. Not on deceit and selfishness.
