Hi ladies, I have a question.
I'm 2 months pregnant now and really love riding my bike on nice routes.
But now I was wondering, up to how many months of pregnancy is it actually okay to cycle?

    Hi Anoeshka,

You can just keep cycling as long as it feels good. So up until the last day.

Just make sure you don't push yourself too hard and don't test your limits. Be careful with the hot weather and make sure you can always stop halfway. For example, take some money for a taxi with you.

    Love, Evelien

    Hi Anouska,

What Evelien says is that you can cycle as much as you want. Just be careful towards the end though... it doesn't feel so great anymore haha.

    Greetings, Nicole

I even biked to the hospital for my induction (8 Nov), my daughter was born on 9 November.

I was still cycling during the last week of my pregnancy with my daughter. The shop is pretty close, but I thought if labor started, I'd be home quickly haha.

I also exercised up to a day before for my first one, and at night I got contractions!! Hihi

That can indeed still be really long! Just keep going until it's no longer possible, and of course, better leave the bike at home when it's icy. For me, it eventually became impossible, but I did cycle for quite a while

It also depends on your bike. With mine, the handlebar gets in the way when I mount or dismount. And the saddle is actually a bit too high. You need to be able to reach the ground well, because you lose balance at the end. But if you fall, you instinctively protect your belly.

I also cycled until the day my waters broke Not really touring or anything like that, I wouldn't do that anyway, but just cycling to the clinic and home.

My wife had a stillborn son 7 years ago after being 6 months pregnant, and now she's pregnant again. At 15 weeks, is it okay for her to ride a bike? Because 7 years ago, she had no amniotic fluid left.

Hi! With my first, I wasn't allowed to cycle at all because I only weighed 44kg. Now my question is: I'm pregnant with my second child now, would it be okay to cycle? I also weigh 44kg now.

Why can't you ride a bike because of your weight? Underweight? Anorexia? Then I get it.
