I also took years to get through it myself, and I completely understand how you feel We were just incredibly lucky to get pregnant with our first ICSI cycle. There's no explaining what the loss does to you. And all those well-meaning comments: try to let it go, children aren't everything, it'll happen naturally if you don't stress about it etc etc.... You just aren't looking for that kind advice. And as you yourself said, how do you switch off something that is your dearest dream?

Fortunately, I could share a lot here on this site. In the mmm group, there were girls who understood me, and that made me feel like at least I wasn't alone. I also had a group on Freya (you probably know that site if I see your name) where I started my ICSI journey around the same time. A lot of talking on forums helped me cope because such a journey is like a whole circus and takes a lot out of you mentally and physically. At one point, for example, I stopped going to maternity visits because I just couldn't handle it anymore; it hurt too much.
