Cold sores

Hi ladies,

I have a question, maybe you can give me some tips. I usually get cold sores regularly, but during this pregnancy, it's driving me crazy. Seriously, every two weeks I get a new one; just as one is gone, I feel another coming on. Does anyone have experience with this and a good tip for me? I'm already taking additional vitamins specifically for moms.

Best,

I’d take extra vitamin C, it boosts your immunity massively and you can never take too much of it. Your body will just get rid of the excess when it has enough (read: diarrhea ).

I'm 32 weeks pregnant now and I've got a terrible cold sore, way worse than usual.
    I'm just applying Zovirax.
I'm really frustrated and don't know of any other solution.

I’ve had it more often too, indeed. Until last week even.

    Oops, that went too fast

....two at once, one on my upper lip and one on my lower lip. It's driving me crazy. I now immediately put toothpaste on them when they come up, especially at night. It dries them out. My experience is that it doesn't fully work then and they disappear sooner.
