With all 3 of my pregnancies, I already had a positive Clearblue test before my NED, and it was cheaper than all the tests that have been done here so far .
Then you also see those from Kruidvat and Action only popping up on or after your NED... It's not said for nothing, of course. You don't get certainty before your NED...
But anyway, everyone has their own experiences
Glad it went so smoothly for you, Sas. I'm just happy to get some support from you guys; I don't have any other family and I'm not ready to tell my friends yet.
Wow! What a clear test! Such an exciting time! With the first one, I had a super strong positive test, but I was already 7 weeks along before I realized it!
Hi, with the Kruidvat 2v5 I had in my first pregnancy last year, I got a normal line after 2 weeks post-O. Two weeks later on the ultrasound, there was only a gestational sac. I was 9 weeks in total. On December 21st I did a Kruidvat Early test, more than 3 days post-O, and had a very very faint line. Tested again post-O with the 2v5 and the same faint line, and on Monday the 28th finally a light pink line. I had one left from Tuesday and did that too, and to my surprise, another faint line again. And in the evening, the first bleeding. Called the GP on Tuesday and they said it could go either way. Even when I mentioned the test expired. Thursday 31-12 period. I'm so frustrated that you can test so early. I was almost 5 weeks and ended up in a miscarriage. That's somewhat of an advantage though, otherwise I would have thought I just got my period after being 6 days late. Less painful. We're not giving up but the fear that it's the 3rd time is really strong. After all, half of all early pregnancies end in miscarriage before the period. So who knows, maybe more than 3 times. If I'm late again, I'll only test a week after O. Good luck.
That's so hard to go through. Unfortunately, I lost our baby at 7 weeks and had to wait another week and a half after the 7-week scan with the gynecologist because she wasn't sure if the heartbeat would show up yet. Before 8 weeks, they're not allowed to confirm the duration of your pregnancy. That week and a half was awful, and then I got pills to induce the miscarriage, which was full of pain and sadness. I hope I never have to go through that again, and I wouldn't wish this on anyone.
Hopefully, you'll get your baby soon and have a nice pregnancy.
Oh Jacqueline, what a sad feeling I've never experienced it myself, but I can understand that it's tough and that the fear stays. I hope for you that the next time it's a plumper baby and everything goes well!
Well Olivia, I really do see a line. I think I can congratulate you!! Yes, the miscarriage was really tough. Especially the first one because I hadn't expected it and the symptoms kept going on. It's pretty tough now too. I just spoke with the midwife and I have to test again next week to see if the hCG is gone. If not, I'll get an ultrasound, and if it is, I'll get a referral to the gynecologist. So there's still a tiny bit of hope! Always so exciting with those tests.
