Does the Predictor test always show a second line?

Hi ladies!

Last time I posted on this forum, I was 1 week overdue and ended up getting my period (unfortunately). Now I'm 3 days before my due date and took a test from that awful Predictor brand... I had one left. At first I saw something very very faint, and now after leaving the test for a while I do see a second line, but well, I think a lot of people have had false positive tests. What do you guys think?

I'll keep waiting until I'm actually overdue.

Love!

Hi girls, I do see a faint line on your profile. Think that in 2 days, if you keep it up, you'll have a darker line...

Don't you think it's always a bit of a stretch with predictors? I've heard so many bad stories!

It could also be a drying line, right? @mavanmi? By the way, thanks for your reply! That's really sweet.

It could be, I don't know... You can only tell if it's a clear positive line after a few days...
Maybe buy a test from another brand, 2 for 5 euros is pretty good from Kruidvat Kruidvat or Action are pretty cheap..and then you can test more often

Yes, indeed. I'll crochet some tomorrow; they might not have an indicator line either. It's so frustrating when you want to get pregnant!! Pff haha, I'd rather have a yes or no????

    Hi Sofija,

I’d also definitely go for other tests if you want to know for sure whether you’re pregnant or not. Then I’d buy a Clearblue! They’re nice and clear, the tests .
But only use them on your expected period date.

Yeah, I'll buy a few different tests tomorrow. I can't bring myself to believe it since it went wrong once before! And also when I was 7 weeks pregnant. Determining whether a line is REALLY a second line—that's something I wouldn't do too quickly, but I was curious what you all thought because it's quite visible. Although maybe an evaporation line could look like that too!!

Is it pink Sofia because I can't see it very well :S..
    When is your due date?

Hmmmm pink.. I can't really see it well, there is a thick line but the color is too faint. Probably negative after all

It's 3 days before my period! And this isn't an early test, but I don't know if these tests might show thick evaporation lines quickly.

I'm staying positive Looking forward to tomorrow or the day after, I'll keep an eye on it

and have you taken a new test yet?
  16. s started this #17

No, not yet! I'm keeping it a bit suspenseful because I'm heading to Amsterdam later, so the schedule has shifted a bit. I can't think of anything else!! I wonder if it's something real or just my imagination, and if the test is bad. I didn't have any more tests at home.

Then we'll wait a little longer, then

Well, I can't see any line on the Early Early test, and on the regular one there's an extremely faint line. I saw it a bit when I first checked, but it looks more like a shadow line. The regular one shouldn't be read after 10 minutes... I took it apart because the window was reflecting quite a bit.

And now I see this very faint blue line, but you're not supposed to read it anymore! So it doesn't really help since the first one from Etos was negative.

Now I'll wait until I'm hopefully overdue and then test again!!

I find this quite annoying with these vague lines etc. My first pregnancy ended at 7 weeks, and I had a clear positive right away.

Let's see what the test shows.
