Have you also thought about Amara? I still find it a little bit more beautiful and powerful..

    It's definitely on our list

    So beautiful, Amara!
    What a lovely name
But I'm afraid it's too similar to my oldest daughter's name.
    Her name is Yara.
Nice that it's on your list.
A really beautiful name for a girl

And yes, I keep saying it, I think the meaning "princess" is very beautiful. And Amira means princess

Well, I guess you've got your answer then :-)

But I think Yara and Amara sound really nice together, just like Mayra and Amara. Yara would fit well with those too, haha.. They're kind of the same type of names.

    Nice to hear, Pien
I hadn’t looked at it that way yet.
Indeed, a bit of the same type of names.
My husband said he’s going to cut the knot with me after New Year’s regarding the name.
I’ll be happy because if it were up to me,
we would have had the name ready by now.
With my first and second daughter, it went a bit faster.

I think it's important to be able to say a name out loud already.

Oh, you just have to think: cutting the knot on New Year's Eve means making a good resolution for the new year I can understand that you need to get used to the name.

Amira is indeed a beautiful name. Mayra is also lovely, by the way. Another name I find really beautiful is Amaya.

I also think this name is the most beautiful of everything you've suggested so far. And indeed, it fits well with the names of your girls; I didn't think Jasmijn fit at all, for example.

    Mayra is also beautiful, Pien!

    Thank you!
