Amira for a girl, nice or not?

My husband asked if I wanted to ask for your opinions on the name Amira. What do you think?
He came up with this name because he also thought it was a beautiful name for our girl.
But he wanted me to ask about it first, hence my question to you all.
What do you think of the name Amira for a girl?
I think it's pretty too, especially the meaning speaks to me; it means princess.
I'd love to hear your thoughts.

    Personally, I think Amira is beautiful. Even if you mix up the letters, you still get a nice name like Maria. But I find Amira really beautiful, and Madelene isn't for everyday use either, so I'm curious what it's going to be. Amira or Jasmijn or Luna?

    I think it's a lovely name, but it feels more suited to people of foreign origin. Is that the case for you guys?

    Yes, that's right, Hummel. My husband is foreign, but very Westernized himself

    Your daughter Pien has a really beautiful name.
    My grandma's middle name is Maria
    And she's truly a sweetheart of a woman
    Samira sounds like Amira, but I think Amira sounds much more beautiful than Samira.
    I also think Amira is beautiful because of its meaning princess
