Hi there!

We've been trying to conceive since this year. Unfortunately, we've already had 3 miscarriages, but we're currently 4 weeks pregnant.

We're incredibly happy about it, but I do notice that the fear of it going wrong again is quite present.

We're of course hoping that this time it will continue successfully!

We've had tests at the hospital, and nothing unusual came up. According to the OB-GYN, our miscarriages were just "bad luck."

By the way, I do have a healthy daughter from my previous relationship, who is now 11 years old.

We're waiting with bated breath!

Because of our experiences, we don't want to tell our surroundings until the 10-week ultrasound (it always went wrong between weeks 7 and 8), so it's really nice that I can share my egg here with you all!

    Big congratulations first of all!!!

It's less fun to read that you've had so much bad luck I really hope things work out well this time! Stay positive, everything will be okay! I can totally understand that you're scared of losing it again and definitely understand that you want to tell people! You probably want to shout it from the rooftops, tell everyone you meet on the street, ...

definitely let me know what happens in the coming weeks, I'm waiting with bated breath Are you having a lot of symptoms? When is your due date?

    Thank you so much, Jessie!

Thanks, AngelAwen Yeah, I’d love to tell everyone about it, haha, but I know it’s not the smartest idea.
Right now, I’m only experiencing very sore breasts and my food keeps coming back up. Although... I’m also very sensitive to smells! My due date is August 9th (and since 9 is my lucky number, we hope it brings us good luck too )

I hope so for you too Yes, sore breasts... maybe a cherry pit heating pad helped me sometimes when mine hurt And yes, smells can be awful; I'd sometimes get nauseous if it was really unpleasant But they're all signs of the miracle growing inside you, so just take it in stride and push through. The second trimester should be a bit better normally

Yeah, stop it haha... you can get weird from it. I didn't have any symptoms at all during my first pregnancy, so this is quite an adjustment.

Yeah, every pregnancy is different, they say. I wouldn't know how the next one would look like But it doesn't matter as long as we're pregnant with our second baby
