Can vitamin B also be used during pregnancy?

Do you happen to know if you can also take Vibo vitamins? They are vitamin tablets with fish oil tablets included. But it says on the front for BV, e.g., I accidentally bought the wrong ones. I was supposed to buy vitamins for during pregnancy, but I bought vitamins specifically for BV. Now my question is: Can I just take these during pregnancy too? Or does it have no effect? Greetings, Madelene

Hi Madeleine, you shouldn't take too much vitamin A when you're pregnant. That's also why you should be careful with liver products, as they contain a lot of vitamin A. Vitamin A is in breastfeeding vitamins, but not in prenatal vitamins. So there is definitely a difference. You need to get enough vitamin A, but definitely not too much. Whether you should take the tablets depends on whether you're already getting enough vitamin A from your diet. If you want to be sure you're not getting too much, I'd skip them. You can use the tablets well for your recovery after birth, whether you're breastfeeding or not.

Super thanks Helene for your answer and clear advice
I already didn't feel so good about it.
So I thought I'd ask just to be sure.
I eat very fresh. My husband always cooks fresh and varied for us at home.
So maybe I would get too much vitamin A like you explained to me.
I'm going to buy another vitamin right after work tomorrow.
    Prenatal multivitamin.
I've already finished 2 boxes. I'm starting my third box of vitamins tomorrow.
I gave them to both my daughters as a baby vitamin.
And I plan to give them to the third one again now.
So I'll keep them for after the birth, then I'll start taking them.
Thank you so much for the clear explanation
    And your advice
    Greetings Madelene

Nice that you're babysitting so well! I'd check with your midwife or the health center before suddenly buying something or stopping. Maybe they have some tips for you and the baby. Good luck with the decision, it's quite an adjustment with all the stuff.
