Well, I just called and did what I could, but unfortunately, I just have to wait. Geez, this is becoming such an uncertain time. I can only have a check-up on July 11th. Hopefully, the bleeding will stop soon and I'll get a nice little belly. Thanks for your sympathy. I'll let you know how things are going if there are any changes.
Best regards and love,
Bianca -

How strange that they don't even let you come by. I don't get it. Can't you just call someone else for a second opinion or something? This isn't right either, the uncertainty.

Oh no! That's not nice either! Why couldn't you have come earlier so you wouldn't have to sit in uncertainty for so long?
The only tip I have for you is to take another test at the end of the week... That way you might see if you still have enough hCG in your urine...
Wishing you lots of strength!

Hey Bianca,
what a hassle. Just like Ju suggested, I'd call elsewhere too and ask what they think. When you're worried, shouldn't they let you come in?!
It's not okay that they keep you waiting in uncertainty for so long, girl.

Hi ladies, I don’t get it either, it feels so weird. I already asked if you could check, even just to see if there’s something there, so I’d have a bit more certainty, but they won’t do that. And you can only do another test once the bleeding has stopped. I’m really tempted to just call a midwife and go there, since I was allowed to choose, but I’m feeling pretty bummed now. I secretly hoped I’d get some more certainty today, but unfortunately not. -

Oh, that sucks so much!
They’re being helpful, right? They should understand that you’re worried, don’t they?
Maybe you shouldn’t suppress the urge to call your partner?
Hang in there, girl!!! -

Call and drop by!
I can imagine that this is unbearable with all the nerves and worries. Don't think about what they would think and/or feel about you; you shouldn't dwell on that. It's your body and your insecurity. Don't hesitate and just do it.
July 11 is still far away, especially in this way. I wouldn't last that long myself. If necessary, drop by a general practitioner's office, maybe call around, as they also have an ultrasound device regularly, so that might be an option to consider. And if it's a doctor you've never seen before, don't let it bother you!
Really, girl, do what feels best for you, and you alone!

Called my partner, and he says the same: we can't do anything, I'm still too early for that, and I have to wait at least until next Thursday because then I'll be 7 weeks. She also said that even if we see something now, we still won't know if it's okay because they can't hear the heartbeat yet, so I'll still be facing a setback. I understand that, but I'm still unsure. Sometimes I feel my stomach tighten from the inside, like there's a little air bubble in there—maybe it's too early, but that's my only hope. I can still wear my own pants, but they're very tight, so now I'm wearing maternity pants.
Now I hope everything is okay and wait to see in two weeks. Thank you all for your replies and kind thoughts.
Love, Bianca -

Hi hi, I need to correct my last post. I said I felt kind of pops, but I actually meant that my oldest is pulling inside my intestines. It doesn't hurt, but it gives a bit of a strange pressure feeling.
My question is now: I don't know if I had a miscarriage or what, but as long as I have that feeling inside me as if someone is pulling or has a pressure feeling, is there still something there, or could that also be with a miscarriage? Sorry for the silly question maybe. -

Hi Ju, I haven't taken a test yet because the bleeding only stopped today, and I'm not sure when the best time is to test again. Thanks for your response!

Hey girls,
You could test, I think the bleeding has stopped now, right?

Hi Ju, yeah, I thought so too, so I did a test—the cheap one from Kruidvat with the pipette. I put it in a jar and put the pipette in there, 4 drops on the test strip, but now after wiping, I’m still losing blood. Yesterday it was completely gone, and now as soon as I woke up, it was back, but not in the pad, on the paper. And that’s how it was yesterday too, gone in the evening, back in the morning. The test was negative, not even a light pink line, nothing. But yeah, can’t be anything else with some blood, apparently. I’m going crazy over this. I keep telling myself I’m pregnant, but I’m so scared of the disappointment if I get an ultrasound. Everywhere you read different things that I should stop because it just drives you even crazier.
Well, we’re waiting and waiting, but let’s see. Thank you for your sympathy, Ju. It’s nice of you, and of the rest too.

So I called the hospital again, but I get so sick just from calling the gynecology department. I don’t even get the chance to explain that I want to make an appointment for after Thursday, because then I’ll be 6 weeks. No, I get transferred again to the delivery ward, which I really don’t want. I go there, and the midwife says we can’t do anything for you; you’re just having your period. So I asked, why does the test then show positive? She said they’re not reliable. So I said, well, there are 3 tests that aren’t reliable—I took 3, and they all say I’m pregnant. Then she said, well, if that’s the case, you’re pregnant. And then I asked why I’m bleeding, and she said what the doctor already told me: you’re just having your period. So I said, how can that be? I want to see a gynecologist. But she said even they can’t do anything for you. I’m like, what? That’s weird. A friend of mine is just 6 weeks pregnant, loses a few drops of blood, and she’s told to come right away. And I’m losing blood continuously for 3 days, and I can’t even get an appointment. This is really getting to me; it’s so upsetting. Bah, bah.

Hi Bianca,
I don't quite get it. Did you test positive or negative now? Because you're telling two different stories: the Kruidvat test is negative, but above it says the test is positive??? What's going on? It's quite confusing for me!
If you tested negative, it might be that you still feel pregnant. I can understand that you feel it's unfair that one is positive and the other isn't, in this case, you. But hey, I really feel for you, it's so tough for you. You want to be pregnant so badly, and now it seems like it's not, and then again it is.
I can't offer you a solution, only read your messages and reply. I hope you get clarity soon.
Best regards and love, Ju
