inflamed gums

hey ladies,

are there any other people here with the same problem? I have really bad bleeding gums (especially at night) and my gums are also very swollen and it's really painful.
I take paracetamol for the pain and I brush my teeth/gums 3 times a day, I don't want to go to the dentist because I think they can't do much about it anyway. Does anyone have some advice or know if there's maybe a medicine that's allowed for inflammation and pain and isn't harmful to the baby?

greetings

Hi Tessy, I had really inflamed gums during my first pregnancy with my daughter, and my teeth really went downhill.
Now with my third pregnancy, it's the same story again: five cavities in a short time, had to get root canal treatment.
They couldn't take X-rays of my teeth because of the pregnancy.
My husband already said, "Go to the dentist just to be safe, your teeth are probably weak again due to the pregnancy."
But being stubborn as I am, I put it off.
And this is the result, unfortunately.
    Greetings, Madelene

I also had terrible pain and didn't dare take anything in terms of medication. So I could take paracetamol, but I'd rather not have, but there was no holding it back anymore. I know from experience how awful something like this is when you're pregnant.

Yeah, it's truly awful, every pregnancy is like that again. I was also at the dentist during my previous pregnancy, and she couldn't do anything, couldn't use anesthesia, etc. She had to remove the tartar from my teeth without anesthesia, and it was pure hell!!! I've already frantically searched for medications that are allowed, even though I'm not someone who takes pills, but sometimes the pain is just unbearable, so paracetamol is currently my only option.
