Dear ladies!
Cheering for me this afternoon, my 3rd ultrasound. I have an ultrasound every 2 weeks because of my past... really nice! But well... are there more moms who have absolutely no symptoms? It's just that I've had 2 ultrasounds and I know there's a baby in there, but otherwise... only big and sensitive breasts, otherwise really nothing!!! Pfff, that also makes me feel insecure... Today at half past 3, I'm so nervous again!!!
I'll let you know!!!
Love, Alien

    Hey Alien,
I also had a pretty carefree pregnancy. I’m just more tired (I already have a little boy of 2.5 running around), constant lower back pain, and occasional round ligament pain. But otherwise, nothing really noteworthy. So don’t expect me to complain; there are women who have it much harder than just some 'discomforts'.
I’m going for the 21-week ultrasound on Wednesday, hopefully she’ll be able to see what it’ll be!

    Enjoy your afternoon, have fun!

    Hi Alien,

I understand that makes you feel a bit unsure, but please take my word for it: worrying won't make you more certain. At best, it'll make you even more anxious because then you'll also be scared that something might be wrong. Especially if you get pain in your stomach or something. Pure panic :-)

I bought an Angel Sound to listen to the heartbeat during my second pregnancy. It really put my mind at ease.

Good luck with your ultrasound soon, and I hope you'll feel more relaxed then :-)

    Love, Sietske

    Hi Alien,

No extra weight here either, just tired, but otherwise nothing. I can go back to the gynecologist in 2 weeks. So have fun this afternoon and enjoy your little beep...

    Greetings, Ju

At first, you keep worrying... I was super stressed during those first 3 months and also had stress...
It's nice that you get to go for check-ups every 2 weeks!
At 9 and 12 weeks, I had my best ultrasounds.

    Enjoy seeing your little one.

    Hi Alien,

I hope you're currently relaxing on the couch watching TV... I hope everything looks good and that you'll feel reassured once you've seen your little one playing around...

I'm having some complaints myself (high blood pressure and pelvic pain), but that doesn't make it any less difficult. I'm actually worried that my blood pressure might cause growth restriction or other negative issues. I have to go to the OB-GYN 2-3 times a week, and so far our baby is doing really well, but my first baby also did well for the first 30 weeks, after which growth restriction was also diagnosed...

So it doesn't mean that if you have more complaints, everything will be fine.

Nevertheless, I sincerely hope you'll be able to enjoy a nice and carefree pregnancy soon! Enjoy it!

yesss I'm back!!!! everything was completely fine! yes!!!
the little one was very active... I feel a bit reassured now, well I know I shouldn't complain about symptoms, or rather... this is my 2nd pregnancy and I lost my first baby after he lived for 3 weeks so I'm going crazy with insecurity... but I can handle it for now!!

thanks ladies for the lovely messages!!!

nathalie good luck too on wednesday...
sorry lexy that you're feeling so bad, I understand that makes you insecure too.

Super! I was already looking forward to reading that everything went well. Especially after losing a baby, that must have been really hard for you, and still is.
But, enjoy this new pregnancy, I wish you a wonderful time and lots of love from the lovely ultrasound!

    Love...
