boy's name

We're still looking for a boy's name.

My boyfriend loves Dutch names, but I'm not a fan at all.
We want something that's not very common.

Any ideas?

We’ve got it... and the names we chose are unique! But they’ve already been requested and approved... apparently, you can do that in advance, so you’re sure it’ll be accepted... (Belgium). We wanted something special but not too bizarre, yet still very Flemish-sounding... a bit 'retro' and fitting with the other kids' names... and we found it!

For a girl, it would be Aachske (AAG-SKE), derived from my grandfather's name, and for a boy, Aurélias (AU-REE-LI-AS)... Aurélius sounded too old-fashioned to us... By the way, all our kids have names that aren’t super common but don’t sound 'alien' either! Of course, tastes differ, but I think it goes like this: one day you get an inspiration, read, hear, or see a name... and you both fall in love with it right away! That’s how it went for us...
