test addiction

So relatable. Everyone knows it's pointless, but sometimes the urge is just too strong.
Today (Wed) I took my NOD test. Yesterday around noon I did a test and it was positive. That's the top one in the photo. It's now a bit messed up by the hairspray incident.
I thought, I'll do a test today with first morning urine. The result was super disappointing. So faint I already thought it was a miss.
To make myself even crazier, I went online and saw that some women also get less clear results with morning tests than with afternoon ones.
So I went straight to Kruidvat, bought a test, did it, and the result is photo three.
I want to test again on Friday. I'm obsessive and hate it. Hihi

Photos are also in my profile separately. Including the top one of the three, which is still affected by the hairspray incident.

I totally get your test addiction I think a lot more women have it too.

I've looked at your photos and I see two lines on all three tests! And I don't have to strain my eyes or make much effort to see them, I spot them right away. By the way, the second line is actually clearest on the bottom one. And isn't a second line still a line?

Of course, it's still an exciting period you're in right now... I think I would've thrown another test in too after a few days just to be sure! But I think I can cautiously congratulate you!!

    Why are you using hairspray?

Test addiction pfff even after a full-term pregnancy, it still tickles when I feel even slightly pregnant

I see two lines too! Congratulations!

Hi beertje and lies. Thanks for your replies.

I read somewhere that the test stays clearer and doesn’t turn yellow, but I think I got a bit too enthusiastic.
It’s great to hear that you both see it too. So I’m not crazy. I really jumped when this morning’s test was so light. Pfff
On Friday I’ll do my last test that I have left... so suspenseful.
My boyfriend still can’t quite believe it. He thinks it’s only real when the test line is as dark as the control line. He wants me to do a good test (digital) and not some cheap-ass thing. Hihi
But I’ll hold off on that for now. I want to be sure that a digital test is also positive.

I've never heard of that. I don't think you can prevent the yellowing. I still have the tests from my other two kids. The oldest is now over 11 years old and the test is still very visible.

Breathe in, breathe out. You can assume you're pregnant! The Kruitvat tests come out positive, the digital tests say pregnant, which is much easier to read.

Good luck, girl! Hopefully, you'll find some peace soon so you don't have to test anymore!

Hi Kiwi, I know that problem. I test way too much too. I'm in a really tough situation myself right now. I got a positive pregnancy test, but I'm wondering if it's just leftover from the D&C in early July. So I'm testing every other day and watching the trend. Your test is definitely positive though! Congratulations!

I always tested early before because it was negative. This time it was weird; I somehow wanted to wait to test. I was super nervous but thought I’d wait properly until I was late. I already assumed it would be negative and that all the effort was for nothing. And then, how special, I got my period. Exactly in the month I didn’t feel pregnant at all. Two thick blue lines right after 1 minute. It was hard to wait, but the funny thing is, the only time I didn’t test early and waited properly, I was pregnant I know how hard it is to restrain yourself from testing earlier.

And if I see you testing like this, you're pregnant.
    A line is a line

Went to an ultrasound last Wednesday. I'm nine weeks now. I was so nervous and scared about a gestational sac with no baby. I hadn't even been lying there for a minute when we heard "I see not one, but two" (identical twins). This makes everything so special and also more exciting.

That sounds so special and unique!!!

Hope everything goes smoothly, girl! Have you recovered a bit from the surprise?

We were in shock for a moment, but we're really super happy about it. This will be #3 and #4. So we'll need to get a bigger car, but everything can be sorted out.

I believe that. That's no small thing, a twin. You don't expect that when you go for an ultrasound.

Number 3 and 4 are lovely!!!

We have 3 kids, currently driving a Polo haha. We'd also like a 7-seater car. Even in a Peugeot 308 SW, it didn't fit with 3 kids in the back. Also handy if you want to bring friends or something.

I secretly hoped the last one would be twins, a girl and a boy. Both sister and brother got their way hihi.

    Enjoy it, girl! Exciting!!
