Feeling under the weather but pregnant

Hi ladies,
I took 2, 3, and 4 August off with my husband. We were being careless, I'd never used the pill or anything before. I took a test yesterday and it was negative, and today my period started. But I still feel pregnant, maybe it sounds weird what I'm saying now haha. I'm nauseous, have a bad headache... and cravings. Could I still be pregnant? And could the test have been negative because I did it too early? Who can tell me more about this? Thanks!

When were you supposed to get your period? Actually today?
If that's the case, you're probably not pregnant. Ovulation is about 2 weeks before your period starts, after that you're no longer fertile.
