Lisa or Liza

Hi everyone!
We found out last week that we're pregnant.
We know the girl's name.
Our son is Dean, so if it's a girl, it'll be Lisa.

Now my question is: does it have to sound like Lizaaa?

How do you spell it nicely? Lisa or Liza?

    My name is Lisa, pronounced Lissssssa, and I’d find it super annoying to always have to say: "No, it’s Lizzzzzza!" Because that’s not how it’s spelled at all ; D.

    I love it when a name is spelled the way it’s pronounced. So I’d go with Lisa, otherwise your daughter will have to say Liza with a Z for the rest of her life.
