Has anyone had experience with gestational diabetes?
I haven’t been checked for it yet by my midwife.
But I’m very thirsty and urinating a lot.
My first baby was over 8 pounds.
It seems like this one is on the larger side too.
And apparently, I have a lot of amniotic fluid.
Also, diabetes runs in the family—dad, grandma, aunt, etc.
(I’m not overweight)

I'm (unfortunately) overweight and have never had any issues with it, and I already have a big family, so I've experienced quite a few pregnancies
My girlfriend weighs 50/55 kg and it was just diagnosed that she's struggling with it... Being overweight is definitely not an advantage, I'm very aware of that, but it's not the only factor... Definitely get checked and ask questions to test this out if you're feeling insecure!
