Pronunciation of Souwie

Hi, we're expecting a daughter in September. We came across the name Souwie... I know it's a Texel girls' name, but I'm unsure about the pronunciation. Just as it's spelled? Or differently? Hope someone knows!!

    I'd say you'd pronounce it Soowie. But well, I'm not from Texel and I don't know the name. I do know Bowi though. What do you think of that?

    Hahaha just kidding, I wouldn't know either. Never heard of that name before, so I don't really like it either..
    Is it an old-fashioned variant of Zoë?

    I now know how to pronounce this name; just like you spell it, haha! That’s what I initially assumed too.. Until my partner asked if I was sure you actually pronounce it that way.. It’s a name from Texel, and since I lived there for a few years, I find that quite special! Even though I’d never heard of it before. Fortunately, tastes differ, and our kids all have unique names, so this fits right in
