I'm pregnant now after my miscarriage, so I'm super happy but also a bit unsure. Wednesday is the ultrasound, so really nervous!!!!

Who can help me calculate how pregnant I am now?
The internet always says something different.
My last period was May 24, 2015.

I really hope for some replies.

    Does anyone have an estimate?

Kimmy, do a Clear Blue test. If it says 3+, you're definitely 5 weeks pregnant now, and if not, longer. You never know when your ovulation was.
Let us know what the midwife said at the ultrasound???

    Thanks for your reply, girl.
They count from the first day of your last period, so that means I should be 7 weeks now.
I have an appointment tomorrow morning, so it's really nerve-wracking... If it's even smaller than expected, then I'm really scared that something's wrong again.

    I'll let you know.
    But 7 weeks????

    Hi Kimmy,

First of all, congratulations on your pregnancy! How did your appointment go?

    Hi,

    We saw a heartbeat.
And she told me I'm just under 7 weeks. So shorter than I thought. Who else has experienced this?
Because last time I had this, it ended in a miscarriage. I'm a few days behind.

Kimmy, it's so nice that you're pregnant again! Congratulations! And I totally understand that you're feeling unsure after your miscarriage... but try to enjoy it too You saw a heartbeat! That's already super! Now the little one needs to do their best to stay attached. But a beating heart at 7 weeks is really a good sign.

Unfortunately, you can't prevent a miscarriage... I don't know if you've had just one miscarriage, but that's (unfortunately) very common... meaning that the first attempt ends up being a miscarriage. And that usually happens around 6 weeks or so.

I've been through it myself... the second time everything went well, saw a heartbeat at 6.5 weeks too, and now I'm 31 weeks Oh, and they "set me back" by a week during that first ultrasound, but later on it turned out everything was normal again, so I went a week "ahead" in the calculations.

Go with the positive, no matter how unsure those first few weeks are (and yes, I had extremely uncertain days too until the 12th week... I also had a lot of bleeding, even though the little one clearly kept developing... so that doesn't mean anything either..)
