Check out my post about the test that gives a faint positive result and the cramps. I thought the line was light, but apparently that's normal if you're just a bit past your period... The doctor can give you a definite answer! Otherwise, wait a few days and test again...

    Good luck!

    Dotty,

Thanks for your reply... Pff I don't know what to think anymore. 5 positive pregnancy tests... negative at the doctor, no desire to hear this again. By the way, my doctor doesn't put much effort into it! This is my test, I could read it after two minutes... afterwards it became clearer.. Any idea? Was yours also that light?

@Sky, I really do see a line so a cautious congratulations!

When did you take the photo? (how many minutes after testing, regarding the dry line)

    Toesie,

I took this photo exactly two minutes after I peed... Pff, I'm a bit scared because my previous tests looked like this too, and the doctor said it was nothing... :-(

You can always grab a Clearblue test that clearly shows pregnant or not pregnant with text.

Yes, indeed, but that one needs quite a lot of hCG, right? If it's just a faint line, would it then automatically not indicate "not pregnant"?
  7. baby94 started this #8

that was after about 5 minutes..

You can also get the 2-for-5 euro test strips at Kruidvat; these are the most sensitive tests.
With Clearblue, you do indeed need to have enough hCG in your urine, but you could try again in 3 days.

Gonna test it for 2 euros later! I'm curious to see what happens.... :-)
  10. Dotty Guest #11

The line on my tests didn't seem darker to me... Weird if you've had this before! Hopefully, the 2-for-5 euro tests will give more clarity!

Not going to get the 2-for-5 test.. I have this photo, think I should make an appointment with the doctor, what do you think?
  12. Dotty Guest #13

If that's not enough, I'd still email the manufacturer

Show the photo to your doctor too, so they can't help but understand that you're sitting there for peace of mind!!

Oh my, I'm really curious! Pff.. feeling bored though! I'll keep you updated :-)

It does look like a positive line! I'm curious, girl, hope it's good for you!
    And congratulations carefully!

Sky, aren't those the ovulation tests from Action? I think you're now using ovulation tests to detect a pregnancy, hehe.

Hi there, these are ovulation tests from Action. The pregnancy tests are the ones with the pink cap. You’ll always see a line with these. It’s clearly printed on the box, by the way. Good luck!

Yes ladies, true, I was a bit too enthusiastic that I didn't check the box myself (shame)..

I read online that a positive ovulation test can also lead to a pregnancy. I've already done a REAL pregnancy test (2w5d) and it's completely negative!

    On to round 3 then...

Oh no, that's so sad! What a bummer...

    Positive through again
  19. Fleur Guest #20

I've made that mistake before too, haha.
So there's nothing to be embarrassed about
