Light positive test but with stomach cramps

In the past few months, I’ve had some bleeding before my period starts. This month, nothing so far. My temperature is still high, and my breasts are still sore (normally, all of this should start to wind down by now). So I took a test this morning, and I THINK it’s positive. BUT I’ve got this dull stomach ache :/ I’ve been to the toilet 15 times to check if I’m seeing anything...

I wanted to post a photo of the test here, but I'm not really managing to...

    Or maybe it is!
So this test is from this morning (cycle of 24-27 days, now on day 28).
I keep reading everywhere that a line is a line, but I really don't trust these cramps :/ they feel like PMS cramps.
Has anyone experienced this and had a happy ending?

    Best,
    D.

    Congratulations!!! You're pregnant, girl

Those stomach cramps are normal. A lot is happening in your uterus. Many women experience period-like pain. Try to enjoy it!

    Oooooh I’m hoping so hard...
Trying since Sept 2014 and already starting to worry quite a bit. An appointment at the fertility clinic is scheduled for next Monday.

Just took another test and there it is again, that same faint but very clear line. Going to the doctor tomorrow morning because I still don’t dare to believe it! I’m also going to keep quiet about it to my partner because I really don’t want to disappoint him tomorrow. And now I’m plopping down in my chair with a series and hoping to distract myself a bit .

    Fingers crossed!

Oh girl, share it with your boyfriend! He hears and wants to know this too! If it's not like that tomorrow (then the test should be false positive), you don't have to do it alone.

Better timing can't happen, right? So close to the appointment.

I don't think the line on the photo is faint, that's a nice positive test. If you test again in 2 days, you'll see that the test line will be a bit darker.

I actually told my boyfriend yesterday and he was dancing around the house with joy
Just got a call from the doctor and I’m 4 weeks pregnant I can hardly believe it!!!!!!

Thanks for the feedback, Beertje, and I’ll try to let go of the worries about the stomach pain and just let my body do its thing

Wishing everyone here with that big desire lots of courage, don’t give up!

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I only had stomach pain for the first 9 weeks. It felt like my period was coming.
I called the midwife, and she said that without bleeding and with stomach pain, it's a good sign that your intestines are making room for your uterus.
And indeed, I gave birth to a healthy daughter at 38 weeks.

    Thanks for the reassurance, Nancy!!

Just occasional waves of aching contractions, but that's about it. And tired, so tired!

    Best,

The first few weeks are always nerve-wracking, but try to enjoy it too. We’re trying for a second baby. I stopped the pill at the end of May and my period was due on June 24th. With my daughter, I got pregnant 30 days after stopping the pill (I’d been on it for 8 years). I’m curious how long it’ll take this time.
I do have sore breasts, feel a bit nauseous in bed at night, and have a weird feeling in my stomach. Also getting some cramps at night.

Wow, so fast! I'm cheering for you that it'll be quick again this time!

Yeah, that sounds nice. Enjoy the time ahead.
