Are the tests getting lighter?

Good morning ladies,

After days of searching everywhere online, I've finally registered here.

I'll try to explain.

My period was due yesterday (Saturday).
I tested Thursday afternoon and there was a faint line.
Friday morning I tested again and the line was even fainter.
Yesterday on the due date I tested and this morning with morning urine, but the test remains very faint and I find Thursday afternoon's test the clearest.
I don't feel like I'm about to get my period and my nipples are still very sensitive. Could it still turn out okay or are you all fearing the worst??

I don't want to do a digital test yet, because they're not as sensitive as the strip tests (2 for 5).
