Are the tests getting lighter?

Good morning ladies,

After days of searching all over the internet, I've finally registered here.

I'll try to explain.

My period was due yesterday (Saturday).
I tested on Thursday afternoon and there was a faint line.
I tested again Friday morning, but the line was even fainter.
I tested again yesterday on the due date and this morning with first morning urine, but the test remains very faint, and I find Thursday afternoon's test the clearest.
I don't feel like I'm going to get my period, and my nipples are still very sensitive. Could it still turn out okay, or are you guys fearing the worst??

I don't want to do a digital test yet, because they're not as sensitive as the strip tests (2 for 5).
