Good morning

It's so hard when you can't decide on a name for your baby........

One more time on a baby name forum ops:
We really hope you'll share your thoughts with us again.
We're expecting our second son, our little boy is named Sam (in English)

My husband fell in love with Bram, but I didn't think it fit because our son's name is in English in terms of pronunciation.

I was really into the name Vince (I still like it!) But my husband started to hesitate, so we looked again...

Then a few days ago my husband came up with Mason (in English)

I had to get used to it, but now that I say it more often, I like the name more and it feels quite cool! My husband was totally excited until last night; he thinks it looks good written down, but when you say it out loud, he wonders if it's too American?

What do you think about how the names go together?

(Another topic about Mason is also from us)

We hope you'll give us your honest opinion again.

Love

Really nice names!! Not at all American. I like that. Nice combination too.
Nice variation on Vince is Vinz... it's on our list. :.angel:

    Thank you so much, Sarah!!
I also love Vinz/Vins! Unfortunately, I had to really put my husband's name out of my head, hihi, but it's really nice!

    Thanks for your reply.

    Love,

I think Bram and Vince are really nice names...
Bram was high on our list until a Bram was born in our family... But it still remains a top choice for me/us... Bram/Sam does indeed sound a bit less harmonious together... So I understand your "point"...
I also think Vince is super! Both Bram and Vince seem very likable to me...
With Mason, honestly, I feel a bit less enthusiastic... (It's probably just a matter of feeling). Mason isn't really my style either! I don't have much of a thing for English/American names.
Anyway, I wish you all the best of luck!

Thank you, mom of two, for your honest feedback

Oh, what a pity that a Bram was just born in the family by coincidence. I can imagine that it will remain a top choice in your mind!
Bram and Vince won't work out here anyway.
It's really about Mason now, or whether it sounds too American when combined with Sam (sem), you know

Mason and Sam, sounds great, right!

(Both names that we also happen to have on our list)

I personally think Vince is super cool too, but I read that he's already off your list by now..

    Thank you so much, Linn!

What a coincidence that both Sam and Mason are on your list! How nice!!

Yes, I had to really put Vince out of my mind because of my husband, hehe.. With not a single name did I feel like "yes, this is it," but with Mason, I'm starting to get that feeling more and more too

I'll have my husband read your responses tonight.

    Love,

Vince and Jay are also on our list, by the way!

    Nice names, Linn!!
Seems like you like similar names

    Yeah, funny, right!

See the other topic. Mason means mason. Why would you name your son that? Not cool then.

PS: Dean means Dean or Dean (as in Dean of the Order of Advocates) in case someone brings up that suggestion.
