Girls, I’m really curious about your symptoms during pregnancy, and especially whether they were with a boy or a girl!!

For example:
I had two boys during my pregnancies and I wasn’t very nauseous.
I suffered from headaches and dizziness. I retained a lot of water, and otherwise only got bigger around my belly.
My face was sometimes a bit puffy but not extremely!! I gained about 10 kilos each time. And I had a major craving for fried food and sweets!!

I had really extreme hunger attacks even before I could test, and because of that, I realized I was pregnant 4 days before I was overdue.
And right after eating something, I'd get hungry again as if I hadn't eaten anything at all, with an empty stomach immediately.
It got worse and worse, and I also started feeling dizzy.
Not so much nauseous, but very dizzy.
Salty licorice helped, luckily, on the advice of the midwife.
That was during my youngest, my second pregnancy.
I didn't gain much weight, really.
I'm not chubby by nature, I don't have a tendency to gain weight, so that helped.
With my first daughter, I didn't really have any symptoms at the beginning; I only found out after being overdue.
Not like with the second, where I had symptoms so early.
I also got dizzy with her, really dizzy.
    Especially in the evenings.
No vomiting or nausea, but really bad dizziness.
And at the end, severe heartburn at night.
    Greetings, Madelene

    Hi Madelene,

Funny that your two pregnancies were so different. I also had a lot of pregnancy itch with the second one, but not with the first.

I’ve also been feeling really dizzy lately, which I never had in my previous pregnancies.

I’m trying to figure out which symptoms are real and which are just myths about having a girl or a boy.

What a lovely topic! I don't have any experience with it yet, but I enjoy reading along!

    Hey,

During my first pregnancy, I had a lot of headaches at the beginning, especially during the first 12 weeks. Thank goodness they went away after that. I had occasional nausea, but no vomiting. Oh, and I had a lot of pimples, just small ones around my chin.

Otherwise, I gained 20 kg, mostly water weight, which was gone again by 2 months. I only gained it on my belly and breasts.

By the way, I had a girl. I'm hoping for a second pregnancy, so I'll be very curious then...

I'm pregnant for the first time, with a girl. I'm almost 30 weeks pregnant now.
I was constantly feeling very nauseous during the first trimester.
Throughout the first and second trimesters, I was also very dizzy due to low blood pressure. Only now, in the third trimester, am I feeling a bit less dizzy, although my blood pressure still isn't completely normal.
My digestive system has been quite sensitive throughout the entire pregnancy.
Also, since the third trimester, I've been experiencing pelvic pain.

Haha, it's become quite a list... you've got to be prepared for it!

Feeling nauseous, vomiting almost every day.
    Heartburn.
    Pimples.
Mucus (still there, probably until after birth it'll stay..)
From time to time, a bad day and feel like vomiting again.
Otherwise, I first lost weight and now at 25 weeks I'm back to my old weight, so I probably won't have gained much by the end. (Well, that's a plus then.)

My pregnancy isn't the most amazing, but I'm getting a beautiful little girl in return!
