    Since it would be a difficult name for many people, I’d skip the hyphen.

    I don't find this name ugly, but it's not exactly a top choice either... A bit neutral! What I do like is that it's a unique name...

    A French, Dutch, or English pronunciation? With a French pronunciation, a hyphen for Cédric is quite handy.

    I'd go with Cédric, I think the name is neutral.

    I think it's a nice name, but I'd guess it wouldn't always be pronounced correctly in the NL. Also, I can imagine you'd have to spell it out often or repeat it a few times when introducing yourself (especially if the kid is still a bit younger and doesn't pronounce it well themselves!).

    What do you think of Maxim, by the way?
