Question for you girls..

Extreme fatigue and stabbing pains in your lower abdomen are both normal during pregnancy. I think you're just feeling very unsure because you don't know how far along you are.
And it's all very exciting, of course, growing a tiny little human inside you.
Just take it easy and wait until the 26th week; there's nothing more you can do.

    Hi Jootje,

Thanks a lot.. that puts my mind at ease a bit..

I'm so scared and that makes it so unpleasant..

I think that uncertainty is part of it.
I was also very unsure during the first few weeks. Always afraid something was wrong.
I also had fatigue and crampy abdominal pain, and in the first few weeks I kept checking every time I went to the toilet to see if I had any bleeding.
    I'm now 26 weeks pregnant.

    Hi Jackietje,

I'm now 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant, and I also have those sharp pains in my lower belly and am incredibly tired!
I'd love to take a test every day, and preferably the CB one because it's so nice and concrete! Pregnant or not pregnant!
My CB test went from 1-2 weeks to 2-3 weeks. That was quite reassuring

Besides that, I don't have any symptoms at all, and I'm super unsure if everything is going well.. I have my first ultrasound on May 26th and can't wait!!
Until then, I'll take a test every few days to reassure myself

    Oh my gosh, girls,
    So exciting, right..

Mandy.. that puts my mind at ease a bit. Because I find it all really nerve-wracking. I just hope everything keeps going well...

If I've got it right, I'm 6 weeks and 1 day pregnant. But as I said way back at the beginning, I can't really hold onto any certainty.

I have my ultrasound on May 26th.. and I'm super curious.. so Famke, that day will be so thrilling for us!
Been feeling super nauseous for the past 2 days!!!

    Thinking of you girls.

    Hi Jackietje,

I'm also 6 weeks and 1 day today I told my father-in-law yesterday and did a CB test just in time, and this time it gave a 3+ result... so I secretly still hope everything is going well!

Fortunately, I haven't had any symptoms yet, but nausea could still come... fingers crossed it stays this way...

    Hi jackietje
Don't worry, if the test says you're pregnant, then you are pregnant.
That uncertainty isn't necessary at all.
You should think that things will go well rather than wrong.
Why would you assume or fear that something might go wrong?
    That's not necessary at all.
I never had that feeling during either of my pregnancies.
The thought that something might go wrong never even crossed my mind.
I didn't have any fear or uncertainty about whether things were okay or not.
As soon as I got a positive test, I immediately adjusted my lifestyle and started eating extra healthy for the little rice grain in my belly.
Which, of course, was as small as a grain of rice at first
And I enjoyed the little bundle in my belly.
And waited for the ultrasound. I found it so exciting.
Both during my first pregnancy and my second.
Try to enjoy the fact that you're pregnant.
And yes, fatigue is part of it; it's no small thing.
How hard your body is working to take care of the growing baby.
But try to consciously enjoy this special period of your pregnancy.
    Greetings, Madelene

It's so nice that you're all so active here.
It's sometimes so comforting to hear everyone's stories to feel reassured.

    You're all amazing..

Femke: How lovely! So we're all in the same period, helping each other through it, super fun!!!
