After a miscarriage?

Stop drinking wine. You could definitely be pregnant. Go to your GP or midwife for confirmation.

It comes across as if I'm drinking a lot of wine, but that's not the case. I'm on vacation now and can't get to my GP or midwife.

I just stopped bleeding 3 weeks ago. Could a clot form that quickly, meaning I might be pregnant? Or maybe I feel this way because my period is coming?

    Thanks for your response anyway.

HCG can stay in your body for quite a while. I don't mean to discourage you, but I'm being realistic. My gynecologist always told me that you don't ovulate in the first cycle after a miscarriage, unless your hCG suddenly drops sharply.
I really hope it works out for you right away! I've had 3 miscarriages myself, so I know how much you hope it happens quickly again. Try to visit your midwife as soon as you can and get your blood drawn. By the way, how far along are you with your NODs?

    Hi Siskaa,

I haven't had my period at all yet. My miscarriage started on April 11th and lasted about a week after everything was gone.

What I'm so worried about is that I feel nauseous and so emotional, easily triggered, just like I did in my previous pregnancy... And with the faint line on the test, I'm scared that I might be pregnant. Or could my period just be coming soon? Am I just more sensitive right now? I'm going on holiday tomorrow, so I can't go to the doctor... Do you understand?

Just did a quick test for peace of mind because I’m feeling so nauseous!! But no line now, could it just be my period coming????????

Well, if you want to have a glass of wine now and then, I’d say go for it...
My girlfriend got really drunk about 2 years ago, and she was already pregnant at the time, though she didn’t know it yet and had no symptoms.

And as for whether you’re pregnant, I really wouldn’t know. Maybe it’s still your hormones from your pregnancy??

Yeah, I get it, but you don’t want that, do you... I really hope I never have to go through a miscarriage again, pfff...

But it feels like it’s going too fast if I’d be pregnant again already. The test shows no line now, so maybe it’s my hormones due to irregular periods....
Tonight we’re flying off, so I’ll just have to wait and see if it’s old HCG after all. It’s weird that I had a faint line two days ago and now nothing...

    Hi Kimmy,

After my miscarriage, I had a faint line for up to 6 weeks afterwards. I was hoping I was pregnant, but unfortunately, it was still HCG. I did notice that the line became less clear, which was a sign. If the line becomes clearer, it could just happen. So I'd try another test in a few days.

I really hope it works out for you this time and enjoy your vacation! Love,

Hi! What’s going on? If you’re 5.5 weeks pregnant and already have a little belly that you can’t hide, it’s pretty wild. I feel nauseous every day but only threw up once. My left side is much more swollen than the right. Does that mean the baby is on that side? It feels more sensitive there too. And I’m getting regular cramps in my upper back and a lot of hardening in my belly.
