I finally made up my mind, I think!
I already have a 7-year-old son and have wanted another child for a long time. I kept putting this wish on hold because of job insecurity; I'm a preschool teacher and graduated back in 2007. I started a course this year so I can also teach in Catholic schools, since I couldn't with my community education diploma.
This course was supposed to take another year, but the longing has been there for so long! I can't wait anymore!

    Hi!

    I'm new to the forum, but I've been lurking for a while.
    My boyfriend and I are getting married in September and want to start trying for our first baby right after that.
    We'd actually love to start now, but we're hesitant because my wedding dress is already made to measure.
    I stopped taking the pill in October so it'll be completely out of my system by then, and my natural cycle will have kicked in. My cycle length hasn't been consistent every month yet. It's slowly shortening, and right now it's 31 days. We'll try to figure out my cycle pattern by September so we can start trying more strategically in September.

    Rinkiee What lovely prospects! First a wedding and then a baby! September isn't that far away anymore, so you might want to wait, especially if your wedding dress is custom-made! Enjoy it and hopefully your cycle will be back on track soon!
