period and still pregnant??

Ladies, I've had a weird period—it's bright red and lighter than usual. Have any of you experienced this too? Could I still be pregnant?

    I've never experienced it myself. I can actually find it hard to imagine, but it apparently happens quite often to women who take the pill and are actually pregnant—for example, if they forget to take the pill or take it irregularly, so it doesn't work optimally anymore. That way, you can still get pregnant but continue to have bleeding that isn't a real period.

    Good, regular, flowing, and not heavy anymore after 28 days, 5 days long, so that was in March. And now I'm in the 2nd month of my cycle, so a very rare, clear, light period, not much flow, but little. Could it be that I'm pregnant after all?

    With my first child, I also lost a bit of blood around the time of my period. I thought, no, not pregnant, because I was still studying to become a preschool teacher.
    I also had a negative pregnancy test then. We were relieved. A month later, no period. Had blood drawn. Turns out I was eight weeks pregnant. Now I have a healthy 11-year-old boy.

    That could also be the case, but I’ve also done pregnancy tests in the meantime, and they’ve all come back negative. Is that normal too?

    If your period came through, I’d assume you’re not pregnant. And focus on the next possible pregnancy. Stay positive. Try to enjoy life and not obsess too much. Maybe focus on something else instead.

    That's true, but it's such a weird case because I only took the pill for 3 months and stopped 3 months ago. I got a nice, smooth, regular period after 28 days. And this month, a light period that wasn't flowing properly, and it had a totally different texture, like mucus, I guess (sorry). It was just drops, not flowing. It's day 6 now with light spotting only when wiping. I've taken so many tests and they're all negative. Have you ladies experienced this too?
