how big is the chance

Hi there!

I had a question. In the first week of my pill cycle, I forgot one pill and had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. I also did this in the second week. I know it was really silly of me, but 4 days ago I had some light bleeding which has now stopped, but I'm still having cramps in my lower abdomen and feeling a bit nauseous from time to time. According to the doctor, I should wait for my period, but that's not due for a while yet.

Does anyone have any idea how big the chance is that I'm pregnant, or could it be something else?

    The chance is there because you forgot your pill and had unprotected sex, but how big it is, no one can say. I think you should wait and see like your doctor said. Good luck!

    Due to stress and nerves, you can also get stomach cramps, diarrhea, headaches, nausea, etc. I'd wait and see, and I personally don't think you're pregnant. Missing the pill once or twice on different days doesn't mean you're doing it 'completely' unsafe. Let me know? When is your period due?

    Danielle, I totally get your nerves. Nausea and cramps can really come from stress, that's totally normal. Forgetting the pill once doesn't mean unprotected sex right away, especially if you took the rest correctly. Just wait and see. If you're still unsure or your period doesn't come, give your GP a call for reassurance. Good luck.
